These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of KlariVital (the "app"), available on iOS, Android, and desktop. By creating an account, checking the "I agree to the Terms" box, or otherwise using KlariVital, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Not medical advice, not a medical device
KlariVital provides informational content and self-tracking tools only. It is not a medical device, and nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The symptom checker, wellness scores, and other guidance are based on general rule-based logic — they do not replace a consultation with a qualified healthcare provider. Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
Not for emergencies
Do not use KlariVital in a medical emergency. If you or someone near you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately — for example 911 in the US, 112 in the EU, or 999 in the UK. Do not rely on the app to delay or replace emergency care.
Eligibility
KlariVital is not directed at children under 13, and you must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password, passkey/biometric, and any two-factor backup codes confidential.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of health information you enter.
- You may create family or dependent profiles you are authorized to manage; you are responsible for their content.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or abusively.
Local data storage & backups
KlariVital stores your health data primarily on your own device, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for backing up your data (using the in-app export feature) before uninstalling the app, switching devices, or resetting your device. We are not able to recover data that only exists locally on a device you no longer control.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose, or to store or transmit content that infringes others' rights;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass security or licensing mechanisms in the app, except where applicable law permits;
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's operation, or access it through unauthorized automated means;
- Use the Care Pulse / family-sharing features to monitor or contact a person without their knowledge and consent, where consent is legally required.
Subscriptions (KlariVital Plus)
The core app — symptom checking, vitals tracking, and emergency guidance — is free to use, no subscription required. Every new account also includes a free 14-day trial of KlariVital Plus, starting the day you sign up, with every Plus feature unlocked at no cost. After the trial ends, continued access to Plus features requires an active KlariVital Plus subscription ($4.99/month or $29.99/year). Subscription purchases are billed and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play (not directly by us), auto-renew until cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
Intellectual property
The KlariVital name, logo, and app content (excluding data you enter) are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app for your own personal or family health tracking, subject to these Terms. You retain ownership of the health data and content you enter into the app.
Disclaimer of warranties
KlariVital is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any symptom analysis or wellness score will be accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KlariVital and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app — including reliance on any symptom check, wellness score, or other informational content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
